4x4 Recovery gear is an important part to any vehicle set up. While you might have all the accessories in the world to help you keep out of trouble, the instance when you do get stuck the whole process of recovery could be made simpler by the use of the correct gear. Recovery straps, also known as Snatch Straps are the most common piece of recovery equipment going around. When combined with other elements such as Static Straps, shackles and dampeners it is easy to perform a safe recovery.
4x4 Winch Gear
Having the correct accessories to go with your winch becomes important in recovery situations. The most important accessory is a winch dampener, these reduce the chance of injury should the cable or rope fail. The weight of the dampener pushes the rope or cable to the ground rather than allowing it to fly unchecked. Other accessories such as winch covers and isolator switches help to keep the winch protected when it is not in use.

What is the duty cycle of compressor
Hi what is the official duty cycle of the compressor as quality compressors show their duty cycle on the specs.
Example - if duty cycle is 33% that means for every 1 hr you can use the compressor for 20 min straight the you have to rest the compressor for 40 min.
The higher the duty cycle the better the unit .

Purchased my Sherpa Boat winch 3 weeks ago. Still in the installation phase. I had to get a bracket fabricated as the universal bracket did not fit my existing winch colloum. Can’t wait to use, should make bringing in the boat much easier, after a big day fishing.

We haven't used the winch yet, but the customer service and delivery to New Zealand were so exceptional I had to say something. So good I bought a second one (for the back :-) ). The customer service advice on which options would be best for the back was also spot on.
