    At the heart of the system is the Sherpa 4x4 BIG V4, a powerful 4-cylinder portable compressor delivering up to 400L/min free air delivery. Combined with the Quad-Air hose system, that massive airflow can be distributed to all four tyres simultaneously.

    In real-world testing, the BIG V4 Quad-Air Bundle inflated four 37" tyres simultaneously from 9 to 38 PSI in just over 5 minutes. Connect all four tyres, set your desired pressure and let the system do the work — no moving a single hose from wheel to wheel.

    The BIG V4's pre-set pressure control makes operation simple, while the four-hose Quad-Air system helps achieve consistent pressures across the vehicle. Everything packs neatly into the supplied heavy-duty carry bag for convenient transport and storage.

    IMPORTANT – VEHICLE ENGINE MUST BE RUNNING DURING COMPRESSOR OPERATION
    The BIG V4 is a high-current compressor and must only be operated with the vehicle’s engine running and the battery being actively charged by the vehicle alternator.

    DO NOT operate the compressor from a stand-alone battery that is not being charged. Doing so may cause excessive voltage drop, damage to the compressor or electrical components, and may void the warranty.

    QUAD-AIR INFLATION SYSTEM

    The Quad-Air system transforms the BIG V4 from an exceptionally powerful portable compressor into a convenient four-tyre inflation station.

    Four individual air hoses run from the central distribution system to each tyre. The supplied Y-connectors divide the BIG V4's massive airflow between the front and rear of the vehicle, while the individual non-return valve assemblies help control airflow through the system.

    Once connected, all four tyres can be inflated together rather than individually. This is particularly useful for large 4WDs where tyres may have been dropped substantially for sand, corrugations or technical off-road driving.

    The result is a faster, simpler airing-up process with less walking around the vehicle and more consistent final tyre pressures.

    PERFORMANCE

    With up to 400L/min free air delivery, the four-cylinder BIG V4 has the airflow to take full advantage of a four-tyre inflation system.

    Rather than inflating each tyre individually, the Quad-Air system distributes the BIG V4's high-volume output across all four tyres simultaneously. For 4WD owners who regularly air down for sand, corrugations and off-road tracks, that means less time spent moving between wheels and more time getting back on the road.

    Inflation times will vary depending on tyre size and construction, starting and target pressures, battery voltage, ambient conditions and other operating factors.

    12V & 24V VEHICLE OPTIONS

    The 12V BIG V4 operates from a suitable high-current 12V vehicle electrical supply.

    For 24V vehicles, the bundle is available with a heavy-duty 24V to 13.8V DC/DC converter together with battery connector cables, eyelet terminals and a 120A Anderson-style connection, allowing the BIG V4 system to be used with compatible 24V trucks and touring vehicles.

    This makes the Quad-Air Bundle an excellent option for everything from conventional 12V 4WDs through to larger 24V expedition and off-road trucks.
