At the heart of the system is the Sherpa 4x4 BIG V4, a powerful 4-cylinder portable compressor delivering up to 400L/min free air delivery. Combined with the Quad-Air hose system, it allows you to connect to all four tyres at the same time, helping bring them up to pressure together without repeatedly moving a single hose from wheel to wheel.

Simply connect the system, set your desired pressure on the BIG V4 and start inflation. The compressor's pre-set pressure control takes care of the rest, giving you a fast and convenient way to get all four tyres aired up and get moving again.

Everything packs into the supplied heavy-duty carry bag for convenient storage in your 4WD, truck, caravan or touring setup.

QUAD-AIR INFLATION SYSTEM

The Quad-Air system transforms the BIG V4 from an exceptionally powerful portable compressor into a convenient four-tyre inflation station.

Four individual air hoses run from the central distribution system to each tyre. The supplied Y-connectors divide the BIG V4's massive airflow between the front and rear of the vehicle, while the individual non-return valve assemblies help control airflow through the system.

Once connected, all four tyres can be inflated together rather than individually. This is particularly useful for large 4WDs where tyres may have been dropped substantially for sand, corrugations or technical off-road driving.

The result is a faster, simpler airing-up process with less walking around the vehicle and more consistent final tyre pressures.

PERFORMANCE

The BIG V4 is built around one objective: move a serious amount of air.

Rated at up to 400L/min free air delivery, its four-cylinder compressor and high-current electrical system provide the airflow required for large-volume 4WD and truck tyres.

As tyre pressure increases, airflow naturally reduces. However, the BIG V4 maintains strong inflation performance under pressure.

BIG V4 Quad-Air Bundle testing has achieved:

• Four 37" tyres simultaneously: 9-38psi in just over 5 minutes.

The Quad-Air system takes advantage of this high-volume output by distributing air across four tyres simultaneously, making it particularly well suited to vehicles that regularly air down and back up.

Inflation times will vary depending on tyre size, starting pressure, target pressure, battery voltage, ambient conditions and whether one, two or four tyres are being inflated.

12V & 24V VEHICLE OPTIONS

The 12V BIG V4 operates from a suitable high-current 12V vehicle electrical supply.

For 24V vehicles, the bundle is available with a heavy-duty 24V to 13.8V DC/DC converter together with battery connector cables, eyelet terminals and a 120A Anderson-style connection, allowing the BIG V4 system to be used with compatible 24V trucks and touring vehicles.

This makes the Quad-Air Bundle an excellent option for everything from conventional 12V 4WDs through to larger 24V expedition and off-road trucks.
