The Sherpa 4x4 Snatch Block is a heavy-duty recovery pulley designed to increase winching versatility and provide a mechanical advantage during demanding vehicle recoveries.

When used in a correctly configured double-line pull, a snatch block can approximately double the pulling force available from the winch while reducing the load on the winch itself. It can also be used to redirect the winch line when a straight-line pull isn't possible, making it ideal for angled recoveries and challenging recovery situations.

Suitable for use with both steel winch cable and synthetic winch rope, the Sherpa Snatch Block features a heavy-duty scissor design and greaseable spindle for easy maintenance and reliable operation.

Important — Synthetic Rope Use

When using the snatch block with synthetic winch rope, ensure the rope remains correctly seated in the pulley groove throughout the recovery. Care must be taken to prevent the rope from becoming trapped or pinched between the pulley and side plates, particularly when line tension changes.
