The Trolltek™ range of AC Lithium Battery Chargers is designed for permanent onboard marine installations, providing reliable charging in demanding saltwater environments. Each charger is waterproof, dustproof and shockproof, helping it withstand the harsh conditions encountered on boats and marine vessels.

Installing an onboard charger eliminates the need to repeatedly connect and disconnect charging leads from batteries, which are often installed in difficult-to-access locations. Once installed, simply connect to AC power for convenient charging after a day on the water.

Trolltek™ chargers are supplied pre-configured for use with Trolltek™ Lithium Batteries, with charging voltages preset to optimal levels for simple, reliable operation. Multi-Stage Lithium Battery Charging

Multi-stage charging helps maximise battery performance and service life by automatically adjusting the charging process as the battery approaches full capacity.

Bulk Charge Stage
The charger supplies a constant current until the predetermined voltage is reached, typically restoring approximately 80% of the battery's capacity in the shortest possible time.

Absorption Charge Stage
The charger then adjusts the charging rate to safely bring the battery up to 100% capacity while ensuring maximum charge absorption.

Automatic & Safe Charging

Trolltek™ chargers feature intelligent, automatic charging technology designed to prevent overcharging. They can remain connected to the battery after a full charge has been reached, making them ideal for permanently installed onboard charging systems.

Important – Low Voltage Battery Protection:
When connected, the charger first checks for battery voltage before beginning the charging cycle. If a lithium battery has entered its low-voltage shutdown or protection mode, the charger may not detect the battery and will not commence charging. In this situation, the battery must first be "woken up" or brought out of its protection state before the charger can begin the normal charging cycle.
